Georgia Baptists have committed to work with California Baptists for 10 years! From 2000-2010, we will be assisting churches and associations in California with mission projects that we pray will impact that large, multi-ethnic state with the positive, life-changing message of Christ. You are invited to join with us in this mission work.

California is a virtual melting pot of people, cultures, and ministry opportunities. In a state that covers roughly the same size land mass as the entire east coast, California Southern Baptists find themselves isolated from one another, and in need of true Biblical partners.

From the mountains of Northern California to the beauty of San Diego, Georgia Baptists are responding to requests for block parties, inner city evangelism, light construction, leadership development, Vacation Bible School and church planting.

The need is great in California. Will you pray about how you and your church can make a difference in this vast state of diversity?
  • Mission teams to work with Vacation Bible Schools
  • Churches to assist in starting new churches
  • Prayer partners for local congregations and mission teams who work at mission points in nearby Tijuana, Mexico
  • Churches to assist with financial needs of local churches and missions
  • Mission volunteers to lead training events
