The sheer size of Canada can be overwhelming. Canada is the second largest land mass in the world, and covers five time zones. The country has never had a major spiritual revival. There is only one SBC church for every 160,000 people in Canada.

Georgia Baptists began a partnership in 2007 with the four western-most portions of Canada: Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, and Yukon Territories.
Projects have already begun to come in for assistance with evangelism, church planting, pastor/congregation strengthening, student work, disaster relief, and women's/men's ministries.
