The Baptist Historian's Handbook
The Baptist Historian's Handbook is now available for all of our Georgia Baptist associational and church historians. This practical manual provides information helpful to historians in the day-to-day care of historic documents and artifacts. Among the topics included in the Handbook are managing the archive, preservation and conservation, and writing your history.
The Handbook can be downloaded free of charge by clicking on the image to the right. Printed copies are available for purchase at the eStore Online.
The Historian
The Historian is a quarterly newsletter designed especially for Georgia Baptist historians and produced under the direction of the Historical Commission of the Georgia Baptist Convention.
Each issue features current and upcoming events that are of special interest to Georgia Baptist historians. There are brief articles on people, churches, and issues that relate to Baptist history.
We hope that The Historian will prompt further interest and discussion of historical topics and we encourage your feedback.
